Add sequences to a project

You can add, filter, move from a project to another, and delete DNA sequences in the Load tab.

  1. Select the project in which you want to add sequences, then add the sequences to the project using one of the two following methods.
    • Upload a file containing your sequences by either clicking Actions > Upload DNA Sequences or by dragging and dropping your file in the central pane.

After you click Upload DNA Sequences, navigate to the location where your file is saved, select it, and click Open.

Note: The application only accepts files in .fasta or .fas formats.

    • Enter manually a DNA sequence by clicking Actions > Create DNA Sequence.

The list of your sequences is displayed in the central pane with their names, construct ID, lengths, and statuses.

  2. (Optional) Filter the sequences by clicking Passed or Changes Required to display only the sequences that meet or do not meet the GeneArt™ Strings™ criteria, respectively.
  3. (Optional) Delete unwanted sequences by selecting their names, then by selecting Actions > Delete Sequence(s).
  4. (Optional) Move sequences from one project to another project:
    1. Select the name of the sequence you want to move.
    2. Click Actions > Move DNA Sequence(s).
    3. From the scrolling menu, select the name of the project where you want to move the sequences, then click Move.
  5. Click Explore the problems to proceed to the sequence analysis.
