Matrix steps

The following steps are available when creating or editing a Matrix pipetting program.

Step	Use the step to:
Fill	Fill the tip with liquid.
Dispense	Dispense liquid.
Multi	Repeatedly dispense liquid.
Purge	Empty the tip.
Mix	Mix by pipette using a selected volume.
Air gap	Select a volume of air to separate 2 liquids in the pipette.
Auto	Dispense the same volume repeatedly over a defined time interval.
Timer	Select the time before the next step can be performed.
Note text	Text that describes the step. The text is displayed on the screen during the step.
Tip eject	Ejects pipette tips.^[1]
Loop	Repeats a series of steps.

¹ A tip ejection step can be selected in a Matrix program at a point when there is no more liquid in the tip.
